A traditional pub in Kensington, London needed fire curtains installed to meet fire safety regulations. The pub has accommodation upstairs, with access through the bar area – meaning guests need a safe escape route if a fire breaks out downstairs.

We installed fire curtains to create fire compartmentation throughout the building. When activated, the curtains drop to provide a protected escape route and prevent fire spread between floors.

The curtains are hidden from view until they're needed. Guests won't notice them, but they're there – ready to deploy in an emergency.
