Emergency Roof Repair – Caterham Pub
An emergency call came in just before Christmas. The ceiling had collapsed into the restaurant and water was getting in – not ideal heading into the busiest time of year.
We made the building safe and inspected what was going on above. The slates were lifting away and daylight was getting through where it shouldn't. The roof had been holding on, but holding on wasn't going to cut it anymore.
We stripped it back, replaced the slates, and fitted a dry ridge system so the roof can breathe properly and moisture doesn't build up underneath.
The ceiling's repaired, the restaurant's back open, and a pub that's survived three centuries isn't being let down by its roof anymore.
